Sumter County Cultural Commission
The Sumter County Cultural Commission is a County Council appointed group of community volunteers dedicated to promoting the Arts in Sumter by providing financial support, coordinating events, and offering arts-related programming.
Some of their signature programs include: Fall for the Arts, which is a week long celebration of arts featuring visual arts, music, theatre, and dance every October. The Cultural Commission hosts SwanCon (a comic book festival) annually in partnership with USC Sumter.
